Total supply

  • Total supply: 10,000,000 D8X

Allocation

The token allocation of $D8X is described in the following Figure:

  • Core team: token allocation for the core team

  • Advisors: token allocation for advisors

  • Liquidity: token allocation reserved for liquidity

  • Early investors: token allocation reserved for early investors (pre-seed round 15%; public sale 5%)

  • Treasury: token allocation used to fund ongoing development of the project

  • Ecosystem: Ecosystem tokens can be bought over a one-sided bonding curve from D8X's bonding curve contract. The bonding curve implements a one-sided (“buy-only”) primary market. Users (e.g., brokers, traders) that demand $D8X can buy $D8X over the bonding curve. The proceeds from the bonding curve sale will go into the treasury. The treasury is managed by a smart contract subject to DAO control. Parts of those tokens can be allocated to other community initiatives (e.g., community marketing) subject to DAO vote.

Vesting Schedule

$D8X's vesting schedule distributed $D8X over 5 years from the TGE. This long-term vesting schedule ensures that the incentives of all stakeholders are aligned and contribute to the success of the D8X ecosystem.

  • Core team: cliff of 24 months, thereafter vesting over 3 years (vesting schedule starts at TGE)

  • Advisors: cliff of 24 months, thereafter vesting over 3 years (vesting schedule starts at initiation of the advisor vesting contract, which can be after TGE)

  • Liquidity: no cliff, vesting over 1 year (vesting schedule starts at initiation of the liquidity vesting contract, which can be after TGE)

  • Early investors - pre-seed cliff of 12 months, thereafter vesting over 3 years (vesting schedule for pre-seed investors starts at TGE)

  • Early investors - public sale: no cliff, no vesting

  • Treasury: no cliff, no vesting, subject to DAO budget vote (chart assumes linear emissions over 5 years)

  • Ecosystem: no cliff, no vesting. Those tokens can be bought by ecosystem participants over the bonding curve
